Fees

As of July 1, 2010, HST must be charged on all counselling services. Mountainview's Counselling fees are in line with the recommended fee guidelines set forth by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.

Fees are based on session length. If finances become an obstacle to your continuing with counselling, let us know and it may be possible to renegotiate the fee through a sliding scale

Please check with your extended health care service provider as you may be eligible for coverage. If your extended health benefits plan does not currently include RCC's, some clients have been successful in expanding their coverage to include RCC's by asking their human resources department to contact their group insurance provider and request that their plan be changed to cover the services of a RCC at no additional cost. We can provide you with a sample letter as an easy way to approach your benefits department and extended health care provider.

If you have been a victim of a crime, or if you have a family member that has been a victim of a crime in BC, you may qualify for counseling covered through CVAP, BC's Crime Victim's Assistance Program. Please contact CVAP for more information on the program through http://www.victimsinfo.ca/
